Nintendo 表示，从 10 月 25 日开始，用户不能再通过 Facebook、Twitter 进行账户登录了，也不能以此创建新任天堂账户（Nintendo Account），但 Google、Apple 途径登录和注册均不受影响。

As of 10/25/2022, it will no longer be possible to sign in to a Nintendo Account using a Facebook or Twitter account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

不只如此，从 10 月 25 日开始，玩家不能再通过 Wii U 和 3DS 向 Twitter 或者 Facebook 分享图片。对于之前玩家已经分享到 Facebook 和 Twitter 的图片和评论，10 月 25 日之后还是会继续存在。
