John Ternus表示，虽然13寸版本的M4 iPad Pro是“有史以来最薄的Apple产品（5.1mm）”，但公司采取了一系列措施来确保新款平板电脑的耐用性，防止其容易弯曲。

据介绍，Apple的研发团队采用了一整块覆盖主板的金属板作为散热片，这块金属板也充当了贯穿平板电脑的“中央肋骨”，极大地提高了产品的刚度和结构强度。
